Malcolm Farrar is a graphic designer by profession who also loves to take photographs. For over twenty-five years his career has focused on design for print - producing brochures, books and magazines for many well known companies and institutions both locally and internationally.
This site displays a gallery of some of Malcom's recent photography. There are four areas of interest, black & white, places, flora and things. The site is driven by php, with a content management area for adding and removing photographs.

about me: A brief overview of who I am, my interests, achievements, education, jobs and work experience.
web design: A collection of web sites I have built using Macromedia Dreamweaver and Flash and scripts such as html, css, php, javascript and actionscript. Click a thumbnail for more detail.
2d design: Some early designs made in the first year of university using Adobe Photoshop. Click on a thumbnail for an enlargement.
3d modelling: A collection of 3d models using Cinema 4d and Softimage XSI. Click on a thumbnail for a flash video.
3d animation: Some of my short animations made in Cinema 4d and Softimage XSI. All the videos have been converted from Quicktimes to Flash movies using the Sorenson Spark codec, improving file size and download times considerably.

digital photography: A particular favourite hobby of mine is taking photographs. Even more so being able to manipulate the results on the computer. Here is a gallery of some of my favourite snaps. Click a thumbnail for an enlargement.
