Saturday 14th January 2012

Our first Lake District Fell walk of 2012 turned out to be a superb crisp clear Winters day with a dusting of snow on the high fells. Starting from Legburthwaite, we climbed steeply up to White Side, then headed to Raise, where the tow was in use by a couple of snowboarders even though there was only about 100ft if useable snow. We continued on to Hart Side and doubled back to Stybarrow Dodd before dropping back to the car via Sticks Pass.
